Assessment and Certification

TCF Canada
The TCF Canada is a test specifically designed to meet the  French language level requirements of the Ministry of Immigration in Canada , and it is valid  only for people having a project of  immigration  to Canada.

The test comprises four compulsory modules :

Listening and Reading Speaking and writing
Listening comprehension

35 minutes
(multiple choice)




Reading comprehension

39 questions

Writing

3 tâches
60 minutes
(writing skills)


Speaking

3 tâches
12 minutes
(interview)

Results are available within  20 days after the test taking date and are directly sent to candidates via e-mail; the same results are transmitted in  parallel  to the Ministry of Immigration of Canada by the France Education International.

It is advisable to include a copy of your test report in the application for immigration. The validity of the document is two years and it can only be used to complete an application dossier for immigration. The document may not be used to enrol into any university in France. Sessions are held all through the year.
